Priyanka Chopra to do an animation video for Greenathon campaign

The concept of the video goes as Priyanka looks for a solution to a polluted, dry and barren landscape. She finds a green sapling sprouting from the cracked earth and hands the sapling to a little girl who I turn gives it carefree young people. The chain continues and the earth survives.

Last year had been great for Priyanka Chopra and the actress has decided to thank God’s grace by doing her bit for the environment. She is all set to appear in an animated video in order to raise environment consciousness.
The video is a part of the NDTV-Toyota Greenathon campaign and produced by Red Dot Productions, it will inspire people to take action such as saving water and electricity, planting trees and reducing pollution.
Priyanka is very excited about her first animation project and says, “It was the first time I shot for an animated video and I had to imagine everything as I was standing against a chroma screen… We were very sure about the fact that it had to appeal and connect with the audience and not be boring and preachy. The animation has made it visually appealing and interesting.”
The video which is aptly titled “Hawaaein, patte, paani” has been written by Gulzar and composed by musician trio Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy.

Neil Nitin Mukesh to play Priyanka’s one of the seven husbands

Priyanka Chopra is on a high these days with having a spectacular 2009 with quite a few hits and many awards. Though her ‘Pyaar Impossible’ bombed at the box office, its failure did not deter the actress in any way. She is not set to play a unique role in ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’ where she will be seen with seven husbands. While Naseeruddin Shah will be her oldest husband, Neil Nitin Mukesh will play the youngest husband and is apparently quite excited and keen about the role.
He said, “When I heard the script, I was zapped. This was something I had to do. I play one of Priyanka’s husbands, the youngest of the lot. The fact that I get to be in the same film as actors like Naseeruddin Shah and Mohanlalji was incentive enough.”
“I’ve a somewhat crowded date diary this year. I join Abbas-Mustan from June to December for Italian Job,” he added.
Neil has recently shifted to Powai so that he is close to Yash Raj Studios and saves the commuting time owing to heavy traffic.
“The traffic on that side of town is just as bad. It’s excruciating to travel even from Powai to Yash Raj Studios. On Thursday I had a day off and I invited my mom over to do up my new home the way I wanted it,” Neil explains.

Prithviraj in different movie

Ranjith Shankar, that promising director who had wowed us with the superhit 'Passenger' last year is back. He would be directing Prithviraj this time in his second film titled 'Arjunan Sakshi'. Prithvi would play Roy Mathew, a young architect born and brought up outside Kerala, who heads towards his homeland with dreams of starting a new life. But apparently the city that lay in waiting wasn't the one that he had anticipated.

The camera would be wielded by P Sukumar and editing would be done by Ranjan Abraham. Produced by S.Sunderraj under the banner of SRT films, the film would be scripted by the director himself.
